We welcomed my beautiful niece Lydia into our family this past December, and I’m just now getting around to posting the film! Julie (my sister) and Ben live in Birmingham so I traveled down there for the birth at St. Vincent’s Hospital (they gave all the December babies Santa hats- so cute!). Lydia is such a sweet, beautiful addition to our family and has been such a joy. It’s been so cool seeing my baby sister become this awesome, amazing mama– so proud of her. The hospital images were taken with my 35mm on Fuji Pro 400H  film, and the last 3 images were taken with the Contax on 120 Fuji Pro 400H. She was kind of fussy when we did those last 3 shots, but I think it’s cute and Julie looks gorgeous, so I had to share! I love my sweet Lydie Lou.

We celebrated our friend Cora’s 6th birthday with a picnic at the kite flying fields at Shelby Farms recently. I love the way that this beautiful evening translated onto film! What can I say, I love the way everything translates onto film These were all shot with 35mm Fuji Pro 400H.

Remember sweet Evie and Ramsey? Well, there’s now another sweet little girl in the mix! Meet the beautiful Reese. These were taken on digital, but the film is coming soon so I’ll be sure to share those with you as well. It is always such a pleasure shooting this beautiful family! Hope you enjoy~

This is me, currently 18 weeks pregnant!

We are so very grateful for a healthy little one on the way coming this October! I can’t even believe we are about to be a family of 5. It’s been a rough February through April, but I’ve finally turned the corner. Thanks for being patient with the blog and with APP. You may have noticed a new look and some new menu items around here. That’s because we’re shaking things up a bit.

As far as business things go, from now until September 30, we will only be offering mini-sessions. Any age welcome. I will be going on maternity leave October 1, so all fall and holiday sessions will need to take place before then. I think you’ll be really excited about the new deal (and the new pricing!) so please let us know if you’d like to book a mini (information and FAQs here).

In the mean time, I’ll be posting more baby updates and other fun things here on the newly freshened-up blog. We find out the gender on Friday- I can’t wait to add another little babe to our brood!
